For the past (X) amount of days I've been filling my brain with the awesome-tastic show Supernatural. I started season 2, because sadly Wal Mart did not have season 1 available. THE POINT IS: 2 episodes in I realized something, something amazing, something I never expected....

Ashley Magnus from Sanctuary and Dean Winchester from Supernatural and soul mates.

I challenge anyone to tell me why I might be wrong, but you can't use these two reasons:

They're on different show. Do you know how frightfully well the two shows fit together? There's some things that wouldn't fly in both worlds, but for the most part they're right on track with each other.
Castiel. Seriously? No. He's an angel and thus can feel no carnal pleasures within the pantie line. Like a demon can't cross a line of salt...it's all very scientific.

This drawing will sadly, never be finished because I forgot to draw someone's leg, and can't find a way to stick it in a believable way. Poop.

Practicing some outlining. Still not great, but getting better after fooling around with the brush settings.

There's this 30 day drawing meme going around, and the first drawing is a self portrait. So here's my attempt. I don't know how well I did. It's weird for me to do them because I'm aware I have some very cartoonish per-portions to my body, and I don't want to over-do them in case people think I'm being vain...which I guess is kind of vain in itself? Uh...anyways...

A dying soldier! What started off as a second attempt at a self portrait changed pretty quickly, and here you have it...dying solider. I was listening to Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah the whole time I was drawing it, which influenced the mood of the drawing a lot. And I here you saying "BUT JESI! What about RyRo's version?" And I say...."Damn, why not?"

Art has taken a back seat to all this "making money" junk, so now while I have a free night I bring you....MY NEW HAIRCUT!

New haircut means new self portrait. Done quickly in pen, the first one is me just guessing, while the second is using my webcam for reference. YUP. I chopped all my hair off. Still don't know how I feel about it, but hey! Its hair, it'll grow back.

You know how they sometimes say a picture is worth a thousand words? They meant this photo. I just love the expression of Hugh Hefner's face there, and Skeletor shaking his fist at something in the distance...and...whatever my friend Micheal was dressed as sharing a photo with Giddy. This was taken around the 5th round of beers, so I have no idea of the context of this photo either.

This is actually....not posed. Dillon spend the night at my place and so didn't have non-costume clothes to change into the next day, and we got Gatorade and Ritz to help with our hangovers, and I still had the camera and I saw this while we were waiting for some movers and it was just TOO PERFECT.

Dillon's bugging me to post, and I should try and keep this up for more then 2 days at a time. So here's a quick doodle I did at work today. I wanted a facebook profile picture of the Scott Pilgrim-a-fied me, but I didn't like what the website had to offer. I was all "wish someone could make me a personalized one-WAIT! I CAN DRAW!" Aaaaand here we are.

I think Kim Pine might be like...my spirit guide. That's pretty much me in high school and the majority of life really...I even have the jacket without trying. It was just warm and comfortable, and cheap! Oooh, cheap. How cheap it was....So yeah, hence the Kim Pine type outfit. But if I have to be honest (and I do) I look more like the small doodle. Confused, in a big frumpy sweater utterly alone. Like the noble clam.

Ramona! Sooo easy to draw. Not really my favorite character. She's really flat in the movie, but once you read the comic you can kind of get why Scott likes her. Other then the fact he's an obsessive weird-o.

Scott! Finally a drawing of Scott! He's only...ya know, the title character and all. I need a reference when drawing him...he's just kind so average looking. I don't think I quite have the style yet...but closer! Plus, it's always cool to throw your own flair in. They weren't really meant to be interacting in this drawing, it just sort of happened that way. I uh...guess Envy grew about two feet taller then Scott. And he's also really far back....yeah...that's it.

Welp, back to my ways of drawing naked ladies randomly! Wanted to prove I could draw something other then Scott Pilgrim for a few seconds.

Hipster chic drawn in pen late at night. She's pissed about SOMETHING. Someone probably told her striped socks were out, and that the obscure indie band she listens to are sell outs.

Do I need to really explain how much I love Scott Pilgrim? Envy is one of my favorite characters, I just love the bitches....what can I say?

Comic down for my own personal reasons. Dialog has been removed (except the last line) but the expressions were so great I had to upload it. Going through some pretty sad/crappy/real life horse shit right now, and of course the only way I know how to deal with things is to make a big joke of it. But seriously....peanut butter and honey sandwiches....THE BEST.

PS-Yeah, okay, vegans shouldn't eat honey. But you know what? Bee's are assholes. I don't feel bad taking food from assholes. I buy groceries from free-trade super organic farmer hippies....and those guys are assholes, so I don't see why I can't have some goddamn honey!

I swore I uploaded this, but I couldn't find in anywhere in my blog so maybe I didn't and I went a little nuts and just THOUGHT I did. Or more likely, I did put it up, it was too awesome, and some super being possessed me and made me take it down then erased my memory of that ever happening! Yeah...that must be it....

So uh...am I the only fan girl who thinks Mary is fucking awesome? Well she is. So here she is with her husband walking Gladstone. I tired really hard on this drawing but at the end of the day sometimes they just won't work, and this is one of them. I drew them to close and at this point it would be easier to just start new then try and erase and fix 'em.

Sherlock and Irene. Uuuh, so let's pretend for a minute that the first Sherlock there is young Sherlock...or something. I had no ref and just went off with what I thought he looked like. Was wrong, VERY WRONG. The second attempt isn't any better. It was done while watching the movie. RDJ does not have sideburns in that movie....whoops. I only like the top Irene drawing. The first was done without ref and I kind of gave up after a while. Did I mention I now own a pair of sunglasses almost exactly like the ones RDJ wore in the Sherlock movie? Well I do, and I wear them. In public, where people can SEE THEM. Yesterday on the way to the draw jam I saw a busker playing a french horn in a band with the SAME GLASSES. We are so cool.

Speaking of draw jam, I was tragically disappointed in the one I went to. It took be about 6 months to work up the courage to go and there was just about no drawing, and any of the artist people I did want to talk to (and attempt some sort of friendship perhaps) left before I could talk to them. I also can't go to the next one because I have a fashion show to go to. Where I will wear my detective RDJ sunglasses, and wow everyone, no doubt.

Hurr. Okay I drew me and Dillon up all Victorian because I'm a little obsessed with the era. I should look it up, because I think Victorian might have been a wee bit before the Sherlock times. Maybe by a lot...uh....anyways I love big dresses and wish I lived in a time I could wear them everyday, but also wear pants whenever I felt like it as well. I might of had to been a cross dresser in that era.... Dillon would have enjoyed the walking stick aspect of it, so long as he got himself one with a sword in it a la Watson.

[ *EDIT* Just looked it up, it's Victorian. Silly me. ]

I will now go seek other artists to...I don't know...fight crime. Or perhaps just art-with. I'm arting alone a lot lately and it isn't pleasant. At least not as pleasant as arting with others. If you put on 'f' in front of those words it would be a funny sentence.

So these month's of homework will continue, then maybe at the end of the year I'll see how many I managed to complete. Dillon suggested less pressure by only having to do about 4 a week, rather then 1 a day. We'll see how this works out. Though honestly I should draw about a MILLION every day, even if they are little 30 second doodles...at least for the practice.

Soooo~ I like the drawing enough I was going to make myself a new DeviantArt ID out of it, unfortunately, me and my family can't decide which looks nicer. I like the top one, with the eyes covered, but my family likes the second. I guess I like the first one because A) I am hidden and B) When I first made the "Panic-Rabbit" handle I'd kind of always thought of some suave super spy, with the tag line "Who is Panic Rabbit?" I'M WEIRD, OKAY, I GET IT!

Threw some colours on. No reference used, I do actually own that shirt (and I love it), and my second pair of glasses are indeed cats-eye and pink.

This was more or less done because I had a shitty day at work, and felt really shitty about myself, and this is my way of saying "Fuck you day, I do not SUCK!". My QA comic. I'm not happy with the line work AT ALL, so I'm going back and outlining it properly this time. I tried to cheap out and see what only using a pencil would look like....not good enough! But that's why we have PITT pens, right? I'm thinking I might need a bigger scanner....this one's...small. Going to redo the text as well, I don't like the last panels text in the least, so that will be fancied up some.

Concepts for two of my fable characters and Mel from my sci-fi comic. I think this hair works for Mel a lot better then all my other ones...she was looking a little more bad ass then she actually is. This outfit also works a lot better for her, just because is seems kind of slutty futuristic to me...which is a lot like Mel!

The first drawing (left) is of Dorothy, who I also in my last post. If you haven't noticed she's changed a little...but that's why we do concept work! Dorothy is very naive and innocent...which is part of why I love her character. I hope I captured that here.

The middle one is of a character for a fable about a bird. I think this drawing is all wrong and now she just ends up looking matronly, where as she's meant to be a young beautiful woman.

Eventually it's going to be a whole row of people I know as zombie hunter type peoples, but for now it's just me...I really don't look much like that actually. Will have to try the face again.

Hello beloved watchers, wanderers and friends. I swear I still use this blog! Honest! I swears! Well...okay...between moving, moving again, getting a real job and a whole mess of not-feeling-good-enough-itice, I'm finally back and posting. Here's more of my concept work for Blackbird. Ruger and Sid. Although...don't call Ruger "Ruger"...it's an awful name, which is why his last name is so awesome...so people can call him that instead. Anyways I'm still not sure I'm going to draw Sid, but here's a couple attempts. Think I'm narrowing it down.

This is supposed to be Sid's sister Noa, but she looks uh...like a freaky vampire in this picture. So back to the drawing board it it.

Ayla and Star. Ayla is now more of a red-head then a blond, because I couldn't make her the proper type of blond. Darnit.

Aaaaaand of course Sid and Ayla being all...I don't know this is overall a bad drawing. Notice everyone got like...the SAME damn poses in each drawing? Yerk, I need some variety here.....

This is a drawing of NOT Blackbird. AMAZING! It's a slutty mech-girl in a mech-girl suit. Because that's just the way mech-girls are! But her design has actual function...not just boobs. The thing on her chest is a heart monitor, and I had a hell of a time deciding how it would look.

Just a quick drawing of my character from Fallout 3. Of course, I play good, because when I tried to be evil my in-game dad was disappointed in me and I felt bad...and started over.

For those of you who don't play Fallout 3, Three Dog is the host of Galaxy News Radio, who you do indeed actually meet, and if you're good he boasts about all the great things you've done. Of course, if you're bad he talks about how awful you are. But he likes me...I mean whats not to like? :) I actually wear Tesla armour, but I couldn't find any good reference photos, so this looks a bit more like Enclave Fire-guy armour.

I might re-do this all fancy like so it looks like a real photo...what do you guys think? Worth doing?

A couple new faces

First up is Sid in his final design. He actually looks a little Asian in this one! FINALLY! Yeah, he's got a slight Fu Man Chu thing goin' on. I really wasn't sure about the facial hair at first, but I think I managed to make it work. Go me! Oh right. Sid is only about 1/4 Asian, but it's still enough that no matter how much he works out, he's gonna be a little bit skinny. Very little bulk.

Sid's look is based on my fiance's, which is why he has the body OF AN ADONIS! I might write a book about us, in which I follow him around in high school while being all wimpy and he glitters in sunlight. We'll make MILLIONS.

Next is Frost! Oh, I love him. "Lovable scamp" is how he thinks of himself, but most people just use the word "asshole". Sid hates him because Ayla doesn't. He's the mechanic, by the way, in case you didn't already guess.

In the corner is a picture of me and Dillon, in one of our typical conversations. It was almost a comic but I couldn't make it work. Boo me. :(

Yarr! There be Mrs. Calhoun(sp?) in her final design, looking busty as ever. Note to self: learn to draw guns real quick-like.

Then, next to her is STARLA! Or Star, as most people call her. She the pilot and she is a tid bit...uh...crazy. Her daddy is a stunt pilot, so most of the maneuvers she knows are meant for tiny little maneuverable planes, but that doesn't stop her from trying them with anything bigger. Frost hates her a little for it.

And as for the question I got in my last post- all the colouring was done with markers.

Citizen Flame! Mysteriously showed up in town three months after the explosion at the Necrotroph Manor.

Currently she's henching for Count Combustion, as his side kick. It's a good thing she'd pyrokenetic, and thus impervious to flames, cuz that dude is nuts about explosions.

The late Mercedes Necrotroph, always toiling away with those zombies. Endlessly searching for the secret to true resurrection...it's really a shame what happened. Get those nano-bots too close to the chemicals and you never know whats going to happen.

Okay this was just fun....My friend Mary is lucky enough to work at a Library where she basically does a bunch of fun things with kids, and last week (or whenever) she got to dress up like a super hero and save books from Dr. Book Burner with a bunch of kids! My envy for her is great.

I need to practise foreshortening, and also draw Ayla nekkid. I don't know why she'd naked, or posed like that, or on a gurney, but she is. Also, anyone else creeped out by the scalpel? I don't know how to make this girl sexy. Maybe Sis has a crazy dream? LoL. She doesn't look like Ayla...does she?

I have to say I'm falling very much in like with the Crazy For You storyline, and think I need to see/star in this play. Anyways, I was having trouble drawing so I did some odd little doodles. One of which is the CUTEST LITTLE PUG EVER!

A drawing I DID NOT DO AT WORK even though it is in pen done on printer paper. I WOULD NEVER DOODLE AT WORK. An odd little doodle of Ayla and Sid. Sid doesn't look right to me...

I DIDN'T DRAW THIS AT WORK EITHER, even though it's full of ball point and white out. She looks like someone from the Serenity verse that floating around in my brain, so I kept this one.

This is an extra part to her commission, because she is being very patient with me as I move all my junk downtown, so my fancy new place.

They're names are Phil and Frank, and they work at Arkham as security guards. Life expectancy for them is short....

A joke about Poison Ivy giving someone itchy crotch makes me laugh.

Dayna's "Jayne" type character for the Serenity RPG, that we may end up never doing, because we are all very busy people with non-nerdy things to do. 'Cept for Malcolm who is a game designer....and Dillon who is seeking work as a game designer. I can't help thinking she should actually have a boys name and a gun named "Elvis" or "Victor"...she is based off Jayne after all. I haven't finished the doggy yet, but it's going to be a pitt bull. This is such a generic pose for me, I should start doing ACTION poses more often. I mean, really, people can only stand around so long!
Mine and Dillon's character for the Serenity RPG. It's supposed to look kind of like a snap shot. Ayla (name may change)is nudging him, and Syd is most likely groping her butt, the perv. Only now do I notice the heads aren't put on correctly. Damn! Don't look at their heads. They also have a bit of a romance sub-plot, even though Syd's about 10 years older. See? I told ya, perv.

Okay, okay. Lets just get one thing straight. Star Trek is AWFUL. Like, a turd in a turd farm. But by God-we love it! It's our turd, and its not any turd...it's The Golden Turd! I have to admit, my guilty pleasure is watching the original Star Trek at 1 (in the fricking morning) and catching all the mistakes and flubs. I love it when Kirk beams down with Spock, Bones, and the fellow in the red shirt (who's wife will be receiving a heart-felt letter very soon). The cheesy lines and made-up science what makes it so great! Sure, they eventually got on with the whole "real science" business, and that was okay, but it'll never be the original...with it's salt shakers and card board sets...

So yes. The movie will be awful, LIKE IT SHOULD BE.

Aw hell, as long as they got the music and Spock kicking Kirk's doughy hiney, I'll be happy.

This Post Has Boobies

Well I hope I don't get in trouble for posting nakkie ladies....it's really more artistic nude....right? Okay, well I tried.

This would be the main character from a sci-fi comic that's in my head. The plot is very "God Ship" type of thing, so we'll see how it works out.

This was actually drawn first, and prompted me to draw the other one. The girl on the right (9 fricking feet tall) is the closest I had ever gotten to drawing my sci-fi girl properly. Re-did her to be shorter and voila-we got boobies. The chick on the left is just kind of a failed attempt at something totally unrelated.

Originally I was going to have a more Mass Effect armour type feel to how everything was, but after seeing Firefly I completely changed my ideas for everyones outfits, and am even re-thinking putting aliens in it. But aliens are pretty cool...so like...yeah....

Also, going back to an earlier entry, it really doesn't matter if Tintin is gay, I just find it hilarious that someone was paid to write an article about that. Slow news day I suppose.

One day I'm going to write a story about this international diamond thief who goes from place to place, loving ladies and living large off his stolen goods. Then 100 years later when people are reading my memoires, they'll find out he was really a transsexual lesbian woman named Rosaline. That'll teach 'em.

If I could be a superhero....

This is the first time I ever drew myself as a superhero...that day. I love superheros, I want to be one when I grow up in fact.

One of my favourite superheros is Iron Man/Tony Stark (the Bruce Wayne/Batman of Marvel) which is why I choose the red and gold colouring. The sock is a metaphor for life. You'd get that if you were EDUCATED like I am.
